SICILY. Galaria. Circa 430-420 BC. Litra (Silver, 11 mm, 0.79 g, 1 h). Dionysos standing front, head to left, holding kantharos in his right hand and thyrsos in his left; to left, ivy. Rev. CAΛΑRI/ИΟИ Grape bunch on vine with two leaves flanking. Campana, Galaria, 2a (D3/R8). HGC 2, 332. Jenkins, AIIN suppl. 20 (1975), Group II. Rizzo pl. 59, 20. Very rare. Somewhat porous, otherwise, very fine.
